Context
KP Designs is a two-person web studio in Dublin that I run with Patrick. Small businesses are often paying monthly for tools and site builders that do less than they need. We replace that with software built around how they actually work.
What I build
- Websites and web apps for small businesses across Ireland, built with React and Next.js, content managed through Sanity CMS, and deployed on Vercel.
- Weekly client catch-ups to keep requirements and delivery aligned, from first call to launch.
Backend contract work
Alongside the studio, I took on a freelance software engineering contract with a stealth startup (the take-home for it became Interaction Tracker):
- Designed data schemas and migrations in the Django REST framework.
- Defined the API contract for 30+ endpoints in Swagger, documenting request and response schemas so the endpoints could be tested straight from the docs.

The apps we've shipped have cut our clients' recurring costs by over 90%.
